Why would anyone pay for a freebie? I feel sorry for someone who actually doesn't know that they are buying something that someone else got for free.

about the recycling bin scavaging, i dont think thats wrong.
if people throw out things, and others can use it, why not?
Like icoke pins for example, my dad and my step mom go through Coke like crazy. I always go through the recycling bin at work (though i stopped, because now they put them in a bag for me lol)
I totally agree with you hun (i would too!)....but the point is...she did it with the intention to to then turn around and sell the product!!....not buy them and use them or share with friends....but to sell them!! (the company didn't print the FPC for her to then sell them and make a profit, it was for everyone to try their product) That's what made me mad!!
I think it would be different if she were giving them to family, friends or donating it but the fact that she is doing it to make money for herself just isn't right. Its people like her that are going to ruin it for everyone, I mean the amount of stuff she gets for free and then sells is sick!! I'm still shocked she is blogging about it, I don't think its something I would be proud of!!
I agree...everyone chastized that other person for the bodyshop coupons....yet...that blog was posted and no one said a word about it!? I dunno I don't think both situations are that far off from each other (morally), but who am I to say!?!
exotic, i understand now :P lol i thought you meant the whole "recycling bin scavaging" was the issue..
now i dont want to be a party pooper, or look like an arse... BUT....
debate and discussion is not to devalue a member or disrespect them in anyway. Its not nice, especially if this person is not around to defend themselves.
Devaluing her character for what she chooses to do is not nice, and should not be tolerated (regardless of what she is doing). if people feel the need to complain about a certain person, they should do it through PM's (but i really wish there was no need for it at all!)
debate and discussion is not to debate or discuss another member (or at least id hope its not)... i think its wrong and unfair and just down right rude!
So again, im sorry to be the nasty arse who ruins the fun, and i know some of you may be mad i posted this.. but lets be fair and not bad talk about people and focus on certain people. lets just discuss the subject at hand "selling freebies" not "who sells the freebies!!?"
Thank you for understanding.
belinda
but then again, i have no say in anything here lolol so do what you want.. i just really think its not very nice...
No it's not nice...i'm done discussing it....we've beaten a dead horse...but i'm not mentioning any names on here.... and it's no different than anyone devaluing the character or intergrity of the person selling the body shop coupons....and believe me a lot of people had some nasty stuff to say about them!
I also think it's not ok to sale freebies, samples or coupons. If I don't use the product, I simply give it away to someone who will. :) But I think it's ok to trade. ;) It's a win/win situation!
I agree it isn't nice, no more talking about it!
of course its no different then the ebay person.. thats why i really had nothing to say about it..
its quite interesting how some people do things.. even if it is at the expensive of others... but anything more to say about it, ive got nothing!
This is a perfect example of what I think is so wrong:
I once found this woman on Kijiji that was selling 28 cans of baby formula (sample size). She clamed she got them as a gift from a family member but her baby was lactose intolerant. She posted a picture of some of the cans to show the product and you could clearly read "sample, not for re-sale"!!
And after she sold these cans, she posted another add for 25 cans of a different brand of formula.
After seeing things like this I can't believe that people would take that risk.
