For anyone in Brantford who may have not seen the Friday Expositor...
The Shoppers Drug Mart at Lynden Park Mall is having a Grand Opening Sale tomorrow, January 7, 2012 starting at 9:30 am.
In the ad it says:
A chance to win a $50 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Card*
FREE Eco-Bags for the first 1000 customers*
FREE Cosmetic makeovers
PLUS look for our Grand Opening Specials!
The "*" says While quantities last, see store for details.
Since the * appears for the GC, maybe it is free for the first so many people too????
Just thought I would let some people know, even though it probably will mean that Chris has more competition tomorrow morning!
He said to watch for him out there, he will wear his black Toronto Blue Jays hat and will be wearing a black winter coat. So if you see a guy matching that description and is wearing glasses, please say hi to him! It would make his day to have the chance to say "I met a Smart Canuck Person Today!"!!
He also just told me to write, if you are going to be there for the opening, send him a PM and he will check here in the morning before he goes... maybe meet up that way too!
If you are going (not me, I will be tucked snug and warm in bed!) Good luck and hope they have better deals than are in the flyer! This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug MartIs it baseball season yet?

That is about all that was in the Grand Opening Flyer!
One thing that Chris wanted noted is that this location DOES NOT sell Milk or Eggs. He was told that this is part of the new lease agreement because the Mall also has a Food Basics there, so part of the deal to expand was that SDM would not sell these items. There might be more that are part of this, but Chris was specifically looking for both eggs and milk so he asked and that was what he was told!
He was also told that the Head&Shoulders would be on sale all month, but anything else he is not sure of. Again, this was in response to a question to an employee since he forgot his H&S coupons at home!
Any more questions? Feel free to ask and we will do our best to answer them!
BTW, Chris does like the new store, it is SOOOO much bigger then the other one was! He can't remember exactly what store was where but figures that maybe they took out two stores to expand??? He does not go to the mall much to be able to remember what stores were there before! Is it baseball season yet?

Well all of the freebies were on Saturday, that is why I didn't put them in the posting!
Got a reusable shopping bag and a few samples of chocolates. You could also get a beauty makeover, but Chris figured they are not miracle workers so he passed! *LOL*
The Head and Shoulders is a great deal, it is regularly over $8.00! Plus the P&G coupons that came out on the weekend were perfect timing for that!
There might be more, you just have to go in there and explore a bit! Like I said, Chris only looked for the stuff he wanted and asked only about certain things... so there might be more in store that we do not know about!
Oh and I guess he didn't win the gift basket or $50 gift card as the phone never rang at our house on Sunday! *LOL*
Check it out anyways and let us know if you find anything new!!Is it baseball season yet?
