so when I got serious about coupons and needed to be more organized I bought a pretty bag from etsy.com, then I outgrew it and moved to a nice small little purse size binder 8x5. I just recently bought more inserts for it and now since last weekends Smart Source and P&G inserts (10 each) my poor little binder is overflowing.......I said I dont think I would ever need to go to a full size binder but now I must rethink my options as over the weekend the binder opened and 1/3 or the inserts popped out and I had to put my binder back together

the small binder is easy to carry around but with it being so full I don't know what to do...wait till the P& G expire then it will go small again

when did you know you needed the full size binder???

If you want to save all the purchases inbetween, just go for the large binder now. Within 3 or 4 months, you will need one anyways, if you like to have a couple of each coupon out there. I find that with the large 4 inch binder (I like caseit and have 2 of them) things can be organaized into catagories, and everything has it's place. I lays flat in the seat of any buggy at the grocery store (with you purse proped underneath it) and you can easily turn the pages to find exactly the coupons you are looking for, also easy to see all the coupons you have in a certain catagory, such as dairy.

You will save money by not having to buy a small binder, then a larger one, then an even larger one. Do it once. You can get baseball card sheets at the dollarama for $1 for a pkg of 8 sheets (great for smaller coupons, and the photo holder sheets, also at the dollare store (4 to a page) are great for the larger coupons (like from cocoupons).

I had to upgrade several times from a envelope, to a Ziploc to a binder, to a binder that zippered close to a Caseit binder with a zipper & carrying handle & shoulder strap.... just make the big upgrade, save the hassle, lol.

I put the coupons that I use the most in the purse that you are talking about. Then I have a binder that is strickly for trading and another one with coupons that I would use for a sale and I have collected a lot of coupons waiting for it to go on sale. Hope this helps!

I use a zippered binder but think I will have to go to a larger one in the future. I also carry the coupons I plan on using for each shopping trip in a smaller pouch so I don't have to hunt through the big binder unless I come across an unexpected sale.

I just started a short while ago, but went straight to the big zippered binder. I don't mind the looks of people staring at me while I wander the aisles. I also do have a small zippered pouch where I stick all the coupons for the shop as I put them in my cart.

They're not that bad, and since they have both a shoulder strap and a carry handle, it's easy to carry, either way. Here is a pic of the one I use most often and take with me everywhere. My second on is for coupons rarely used, so I don't take it with me.
