hmm. I never knew about this! I may have been lucky enough to get some free pasta from Walmart if I knew about this last week
It scanned higher and the cashier corrected the price.

Today, I found a display of backpacks at Walmart with a $5 sign on it. (Regular $25) When I brought one to the cash, it rang up $25 so I told the cashier it was on the sale rack. She got a CSM to check and the CSM comes back and says, it should be $5, I will adjust the price to $5 and I said, "No, you have a scanning policy, right?" and she says, "Oh yes, we do, you will get it for free".
Not the first time this has happened; they always say, we will adjust the price until you mention SCOP and then the say oh yes but they don't say it in a way like they forgot....makes you wonder if they are trained to tell you they will adjust first and if the customer mentions the policy, to apply it?
Anyway, it was awesome for me today! Got my daughter a free backpack!
