@Ciel : If I venture to the mall I will let you know how it was. I am excited to see something decent finally go in this mall, its a ghost town. I am also looking forward to the Good life as I am thinking they will have some good deals for joining and this mall is just minutes from home. Interesting to see why they picked Oakville as we were all surprised. there are far better mall options in the areas. but happy for the boost to the area.
I planned to hang the laundry out today but a neighbour is getting a massive and very dead tree cut down so everything has a lawyer of sawdust on it.

off i went to plato today bought a roll on perfume 2.00 got 3.30 for daughter-in-law
then over to style encore I found a long skirt 7.00 for me and daughter-in-law got 17.55 for her bag of clothing ,then on to goodness me got a lovely organic boston lettuce 1.99 so I can have salads with my tomatoes from the garden

supper tonight bacon and tomato sandwich ,hubby wants pasta

No i doubt it. I find the promos a waste of time really. I seem to never have luck on those days.

Took DS for a haircut. Then Sportchek for new runners. We wanted a 2nd pair but no size avail so will pop in store in Barrie on the weekend. On sale and used GC purchased on discount. Then we hit GT. Let DS grab drinking boxes and 4 boxes of Janes chicken. Gave coupon to customer behind us. Tossed laundry on. Just want it done.

Slow day for me. I did not leave in the morning for my long walk to the library but I did install the last fresh watch battery from the card pack and my watch is back in action! Hope I get another 30 days of use! I have been feeling like my face and chest are on a low-level slow roast session and when I ate some chili thai flavoured tuna, yikes it seemed to have intensified the heat and I also got a little sweaty. Not loving this sensation. Yes, I have been keeping water or something by the bed most nights/early morning because I either get a dry mouth or I have a need to drink something after midnight. Fun times in the suburbs! The three Coke drinks I bought yesterday afternoon-2 were enjoyed on my walk home and last one lasted barely 5 minutes after my evening can walk ($1.30 worth of containers found).

Found a dime and $1.60 worth of refundable containers this afternoon; I had no luck spotting any cola contest caps along the way. Stopped in at Winners and winter jackets have not really landed. Just a few toppers/short jackets for fall plus acrylic ponchos. Talize has not added much to their winter coat rack but I checked anyway. Bought a sweater at 50% off (tops) for cooler days.

Super happy that I packed two Lysol wipes into a small snack bag. The main bathroom for women is taped off for painting so I had to use the family one in the library. Some little customer wet the entire toilet seat so it had to be dried off and wiped with a Lysol cloth.

After I get my computer time for the day, I'll visit The Bay for treats to spend my $10 gift card on then head for home. Despite seeing banks of grey-blue rain clouds, no 30% chance of rain has yet descended.

Found three library items to borrow, so there will be some happy reading tonight. A mug of tea with stevia is definitely part of tonight's plan!

It's hard to believe that the CNE is on its eighth day already! Another week is left then we will be staring at Labour Day, the unofficial end to summer.
