PHASE ONE: ENTRY SUBMISSION PERIOD
  1. To enter the Competition, an eligible Entrant must visit the website located at www.ctv.ca/littlepotatoco (the "Competition Website") during the Entry Period, click on the Competition page and follow the on-screen instructions to access and fully complete the official Competition entry form, which will require the eligible Entrant to: (i) provide first and last name, province, and email; (ii) upload one (1) unique and original photo ( “Photo”) of a plated 30 minute dish that the Entrant has created from the Entrant’s unique and original recipe that includes small potatoes as the main ingredient (the “Dish”); (iii) upload one (1) Photo of the Entrant with the Dish; (iii); provide the name of the Dish; (iv) provide a brief description (maximum of 500 words) on the topic of “Why Do You Love to Cook” (collectively, the “Entry Form”) (in these Rules, each Entrant’s Entry Form, Photos and Dish are together called the “Entry/ies”). In order to be eligible, an Entry must (i) comply with the Content Requirements provided below in section 12, (ii) be fully completed with all required information, and (iii) submitted and received in accordance with these Rules during the Entry Period (as determined by the Competition Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion).
CONTENT REQUIREMENTS:
  1. To be eligible for Entry in this Competition, any Photo and/or Semi-Finalist Video Submission (as applicable) submitted must meet the following requirements:

Rules:
Here’s a summary of how the contest works:

  1. Create an original recipe that cooks in 30 minutes and uses small potatoes as the starring ingredient.
  2. Submit two photos: one of your completed dish on its own, and one of you with your finished dish.
  3. Include in your submission the recipe name and an explanation (in under 500 words) of why you love to cook.
  4. If you’re confirmed as a top 10 semi-finalist, we’ll ask you to submit recipe details and a video of you cooking your dish.
  5. And if you’re confirmed as one of two finalists, you’ll be invited to a “cook off” on the Marilyn Denis Show with the grand prize winner to be crowned champion by Michael Bonacini!

PRIZING

  1. The following prizes (the “Prizes”) are available to be won:


  • Top 10 Semi-Finalist Prizes: There are ten (10) Top 10 Semi-Finalist prizes (each, a “Top 10 Semi-Finalist Prize”), each consisting of: (i) Masterchef swag, (as selected by Bell Media Inc. in its sole and absolute discretion) (ii) three-month supply of potatoes awarded in the form of thirteen (13) coupons (each of which is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer) that can be redeemed for one (1) Little Potato Company 1.5 lb bag of product, one (1) Fresh Creamer potato Microwave Ready product, or one (1) Oven | BBQ Ready product (approximate retail value of each coupon is $4.99 CAD), and (iii) an assortment of Little Potato Company Swag (as selected by LPC in its sole and absolute discretion). Approximate total retail value of each Top 10 Semi-Finalist Prize is $175.00 CAD.


  • Finalist Prizes: There are two (2) finalist prizes (each, a “Finalist Prize”). Each Finalist Prize consists of a trip for the winning Finalist to Toronto, Ontario (the “Finalist Prize Destination City”) to attend the Cook-Off. Each Finalist Prize includes: (i) round-trip economy air transportation for the Entrant to Toronto, ON from the major departure terminal closest to the Finalist’s residence in Canada (the “Departure Point”) (as determined by the Competition Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion); and (ii) two (2) nights accommodation at a hotel selected by the Competition Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion. Each Finalist Prize has a total maximum approximate retail prize value of $1,700 CAD based on a Vancouver, BC hypothetical departure example.
