Since the Flatiron building in Toronto changed owners about two months ago, I don't think it will be on the tour this year. There was an article about the interior space by the Toronto Star recently.

Market Gallery is likely going to be off the list too, given budget discussions.

I have been wanting to do the Burlington tour, at least one of the sites downtown, for years. Some sites require you to be able to drive yourself where transit does not go.

The Hamilton event sometimes has sites that go on then off the tour. And the occasional special event to tie into Architecture week. If you are in the downtown area, you can walk to many sites or take the bus. Suburban sites are not as accessible by transit, unless you are willing to give your time up waiting for fewer buses on the Saturday schedule.

The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology will be on Doors Open Hamilton this year. The Historic waterworks is open, and the Golden Horseshoe live steamers are bringing their miniature trains for rides for the kiddos. If you have any little thomas fans- this is the time to bring them!

Savabuck: I think this might help http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doors_Open_Toronto. at the bottom of the page, they have the sites for 2012 marked in the table.
