Huzzah! We're back for more fun and frolickin'...or, at least, a few flyer sneak peeks! (Which was in doubt, since I had to restart my $#%!&* laptop to get it to run again...grrr!)
Today's blurb treat is last week's "funny" story which was culled due to lack of time -- only, with the passage of time, I think it's firmly entered into the "gross" zone...or, why do these things happen to me?!
Anyway...I was out for a walk with my mom in the early evening, and it was very windy. (Very few people wander around so we usually don't wear masks, and we do social distance if we encounter other pedestrians). We made it a few blocks and were just turning the corner to make it back home and I was commenting how the wind was nice, otherwise the heat would be unbearable...when, blaaargh! Big gust of wind! Huge gust of wind! Giant gust of wind...that blew a bug up my nose!!! Arrrrgh!!! Oh, gross, gross, gross. Ick! Sh*t! Sh*t! I don't have a tissue on hand! Frack! (Mom is laughing her head off at me). Ugh. Do you realize how hard it is to try to blow your nose with NOTHING on hand?! Oh, disgusting. Finally, after struggling a LOT, I managed to expel the bug out of my nose. And the worst of it, (even worse then having goober on my hands) was that the bug/gnat/thing...was still alive and squirming. oh, gross. (Mom was thoroughly chortling over how disgusted I was). Why do these things happen to me?!?! How does this happen?! What are the odds of a small bug entering a no go zone?!? Arrgh.
Lesson:
WEAR A FACE MASK!
It will stop bugs from going up your nose!! Trust me, it IS worth it!!!

... yeah, I should have just left this blurb in last week's scrap pile. Sorry.
