Thanks for all the new words!
Just spending the day online, and catching up on everything. Slacking on the online earnings.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend.
Mine is off to a rough start. The ac compressor is going on our van (and it was making a horrid noise and smelt awful) - anyways we can't really drive it because if it goes completely and parts fly it could wreck the engine or something. So we have a rental for the weekend. So that sucks since we have to rent it! Anyways the rental sucks at handling in the snow We are getting the part through my brother because he can get it for considerably cheaper than we can here locally. So that means we have to figure out how to get the part from him (an hour away from us) to here..it wouldn't be a huge deal normally (we would just drive) but dh is working (it snows and he works) and I am part of our school's fundraiser auction today so we also need to be there....so it's just a crazy start for a weekend that was already going to be busy.Collecting Campbell's soup labels for our school RAKs greatly appreciated.
Using WagJag for great deals!

It is crazy how expensive vehicle parts are!!!! We have needed a new steering gear box for our truck since September (luckily it remained driveable), and they were backordered until last week. The dealer offered us a $1400 part, when the aftermarket one was just under $400. Last night (while i was standing at the pump putting $150 <ack> of diesel in the truck) I was talking to a guy who needed to replace his Mercedes truck alternator. The dealer charged $1800 new, $1300 for rebuilt; he could order one for $500 from the US; ultimately he found a guy who replaced the brushes for $30. It makes me mad!!!
