Some stores have just given me a price-adjustment with just the receipt.

I try to plan my purchases for the last valid day of flyer. Often, you can see a preview of the next week's flyer online. So, you can have a peek into most offers for the upcoming week before deciding to buy or not. Not all stores offer sneak preview peaks of their flyers one day before the flyer is 'activated' or valid, but I find that most of the major chains do so.

Also, some flyers activate on different days. For example, Safeway/Walmart/Coop/SavOn Foods flyers start on Thursday, but No Frills and RCSS do not start until Friday. The one day overlap grants me an extra day to look at the flyers before deciding if I need to make the purchase at NoFrills or RCSS.

I just got back from the dentist -no cavities and a nice cleaning .

Popped into fortinos and got reduced apples 1.99 5 big ones ,reduced zuccini $1.99 6 small ones and a yellow one also. So nice out .

Had to pop into the office to grab stuff. Decided to go to No Frills and do the cheez-it deal since I found the $1 coupons (and there is a mom looking for food for her kids for school snacks always on the FB groups so wanted to put a bag together for her)

So for .19 cents out of pocket (and 12000 PC points) I got:

8 boxes of Cheez-it crackers
1 Cracker Barrel Shreded cheese
2 L Milk (was $4.44 less 50% off- expires April 7th)
2 cans of raw almonds
2 free No frills bags (for garbage!)

Used $9 in coupons. Redeemed $20 in pts and received back $8 in points.

I realized I purchased tons of veggies last week .So instead of buying others expensive veggies dips 9like marzetti one so good but oh do but so expensive like 4-6$ a small container) to make my own veggie dip found my mother belover her mother recepie and bonus I had some chive cream cheese to use too that was about to expire so no waste(made with mayo,sour cream and chive cream cheese..I dont like the chili sauce so I dont put it) so now I have like 2 containers of dips and have the stuff to make another one.This is what I did frugal today!!! :) Now I have to much brocoli so I searched a recepie for a salad ..I think I found one I could motify to my taste,JUst need to purchase apples and citrus,have all the rest of ingrediants on hand.It is natasha kitchen recepie pop into my fb newsfeed perfect time.I love apples salad it been like age I have enjoyed one.My last one was with my beloved mother the marcher public one but the store dont exist anymore... :( :( :( that is sad!

Off to order some coupons yay!!! :)

3 i am sure I will receive Chapmans 4,00$ coupons and colgate palmolive (chatted not been asked for upc ,will mail some coupons) purina (got a email back saying they will send coupons ,hopefully some good ones)!!! :)

Popped over to the library -they only allow 4 in the library and they get your holds for you .No problem i now have 3 books to read ,that will keep me busy .

It is beautiful and not too cold outside,a real spring journey.I went for a small walk 4 streets with dad (accross the block) and altrought he dont walk fast he did great!!! :) Very happy of that!!! :) But he have pain in the other leg ,a problem he had before...So arthrtis is maybe reblocked du to this 2012 leg operation he will maybe have another one when he will be good shape enough....he will talk about that to his doctor tomorrow.He have not seen his doctor since 2 years...

Yes my clothing dried on the line -saved on hydro for the day .

Had my 2nd cash pick up for the day. $16 added to the cash collection. I need to get posting but just didn't feel like it today.

I am so looking forward to dinner. Roast beef with mushroom gravy and roasted asparagus. Yum!!! Just waiting on the asparagus to cook as I wanted it fresh with dinner. We have so much asparagus still from the deal last week. Will make a shrimp/asparagus/mushroom pasta this weekend.

It was so windy here this afternoon it would have dried quickly!

My brother called from London,Ontario and he just called to say hi and it was windy there too.Supper was takeout pizza ,just had a lazy day .

Is is weird,....the more I talk to my childhood friend the more i am under the fact that I bored her..we are not in the same page in life altrought we have the same age...
And my father is kind of depressing tonight...

I haven’t had much luck with contests lately, but I continue to enter them. My kids just entered an Easter colouring contest. Do you have any contests that you’ve been entering lately, that you can share with me?

I spent 2 hours on the phone with my brother. Clearly it’s been a while since we chatted. It looks like we will do our Easter meal Friday so I need to go out after work tomorrow to get a rack of lamb as that is what my older son wants to cook. Hopefully I can find one. @Angela273 I am always impressed by people who win contests. I am rarely lucky but also rarely try to win.
