Good Evening Everyone,
Productive day here which was needed, didn't get all the things done but some most of the things done so I am happy.
I know I am going to have a busy week this week but I am determined to keep the balance in my life I keep losing lately. I know it will be a busy week but I will find time for house stuff and for me, I will not work from the time I get up until I time I go to bed. Last week I did not work from morning to night but I did slack off on stuff around the house.
Today we got the following done:
Costco package of Chicken Breast broken down and in the freezer
Package of Pepperoni broken down and in the freezer
Spreadables made
Avocados turned into Guacamole which if I do not eat in the next couple of days I will freeze
Broke down second 6-pack of Romaine - I am so upping my Salad game this year
Chest freezer has been cleaned and all bread and buns bought at Costco have been put away
Dishwasher has been emptied, dishes are done, clean kitchen for tomorrow
Garbage was taken out
Tonight's dinner was a little more labour intensive but oh my was it ever good. I gotta be real, tonight was all about the side for me, we had:
Steak with Instant Pot Warm Baked Potato Salad (OH MY I love this stuff and we have leftovers for at least 1 maybe 2 more meals), Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions, Sauteed Corn and instead of a Salad I just had Cucumbers with Bocconcini in Balsamic Vinaigrette. It was amazing.
Still have some stuff to get done this week but my big goal is to get out of our food ruit. The last 3 weeks I have said this week we will stop relying on the quick pull and eat meals from the freezer but by dinner I am done. My goal is to be better this week, not just do I want out of this food ruit, I miss cooking. I really do enjoy cooking and I feel more "normal" when I am cooking.
Also need to find some new movies to watch, a little disappointed, we watched 2 movies this weekend and neither one would I recommend. Last night's movie was not at all what the preview and description laid out. Tonight's movie started off good but half way through it took a turn and lost us. But it was nice to just sit down and watch a movie, I do not just watch a movie often, normally I am working or doing something. Just watching a movie was nice.

It was a take-it-slow kind of day. Up too early so made significant progress on a book I'm reading (nearly done!). Then three hours of sleep. Some hydration. Basically bed was a good, warm place to be. Lunch was cooked pasta with chopped olives, herbes de Provence and a little salt plus a touch of smoked paprika. Dessert was more of the wonderful watermelon slices.
I did not even want to go to Shoppers to look for any Easter treats despite the weekend sale.
A food delivery person came to our door by mistake. I checked first with Bro to make sure he did not order the food as he usually gets it himself. Driver apologized and said it was for another house (the food place prints the street address on the labels attached to the boxes). Since I was watching The Indian Detective on Netflix, I was near the door. Mom said she had seen the series but sat through a few episodes with me.

Sunday lived up to its name-it was full of sunshine! But the wind had teeth (feeling brisk). I did open a couple of windows for a short while to get some fresh air moving around indoors.
Bro purchased his three favourite Chinese takeout dishes for a late lunch. That was a surprise meal.
I figured out why my left forefinger and hand are acting strangely as I have noticed something strange for the past few days-I have to stop wrapping my right hand around my left shoulder/arm when I sleep on my left side (I cannot sleep on my right side for the entire night so I keep changing sides). My forefinger throbs for a few minutes during the day *usually while doing dishes* and my hand has felt cold then warm for a few seconds then repeats the cycle. So I must have caused a circulation issue.

Took the garbage and compost outside to garbage too
I did my grocery shopping list tonight to have it out of my mind.11 price matching to do(some items are multiples) ,I have 5 pc offers to match it.And 20$ to cash it out in pc points.But now I am debatting if I should use my points to buy a new toaster ,I saw one at 25$ a pc one black and look good and stylish just like when I cashed my points to buy a blender.I will talk tomorrow about that with dad,it is in my mind since a long time.Ours is at least 22 years old and was a cheap one + one mecanism dont work well.I would feel less guitly to buy it with my pc points lol.I dont know why....
Price matching because I am so not willing to paid full price on items I need when i see those in sale at another place
I will probably use 10$ in coupons too,so that is good.
Shower will have to wait to tomorrow morning.

Good Morning and Happy Monday! Sunny here today.
Busy work day for me but I plan to plow through it all. Have my window open so I can enjoy the sunshine and hear the birds.
No shopping for me on the weekend other then a little shop at SDM. I will stop on my way home for fruit.
Keeping my eye on the Flashfood app. (Just ordered a loaf of bread for $1.24 and a large stuffed pasta for $ (DS loves it) brick of montery jack cheese for $3 expires in June)

morning -i did no shopping on the weekend either -just hunkered down -did enjoy a walk along a nice stretch yesterday (lots of people out walking).
Supper was lovely last night .So maybe leftovers today ,we will see.

I slept in and took my shower.Dad is agree on the toaster so that is great!!! :)
I think dinner will be baked ham with maple sirup, mashed sweet patatoes and slices of pineapple.plenty choices for dssert.
