pharmaprix question

Hi,

First off I just want to say I had a great time at the meeting today

I went to pharmaprix after for the 20x and it didnt work
I even just called the number behind my card and they said that coupons count as discounts therefore if ur total is below 50$ after coupons/discounts u wont get 20x.

Specifically, i purchased
Duracell 4x 7.99 ( -5$ cpn x 4)
Busybones for Luckster my dog (4.99 x 3) - (1.50 x 3)
Temptation cat treats (1.50x 2) get one free after coupon so before coupons it was 1.50 + 1.50 + 1.79 (coz if u buy just one tempation its 1.79, buy 2 get then 1.50 each

subtotal before coupons: 51.72
after coupons 32.91

the lady on the phone said that my 'friends' who got 20x pts even after coupons were lucky as that particular store owner let it go through. I know this isnt true bc i see tons of ppl do the 20x pts all the time on the site, I even saw someone's bill today who got 20x!

What did I do wrong? was it the tempations coupons?
im sad and almost feel like never trying this 20x thing again

Not sure maybe they entered it as 2002 instead of 2001 code. That would do it but check your base point as long as it says 500 before coupons you should be ok(unless code 2002)

thanks patty - the base point is 490 - i guess i didnt spend enough? but before i gave the cpns i loooked at the screen and it was above 50 (even b4 taxes).

perhaps it was the temptation buy 2 get one free that put me under the amount of points...shoulda bought some 7up instead of the cat treats

If you had the base points before then it had to be the way they entered the coupons

looks like you spent $49.93 (490 base points). the b1g1 free coupon on the cat treats doesn't count as it's a free coupon, so gets entered in differently in the system. only dollars off coupons get points.

This happened to my mom before too. She used a B1G1 coupon and didn't get the points. I returned all the items she bought to Pharmaprix and had them scan the items all over again. Total was above $50. Minus coupons, it was $35+, didn't use the B1G1 coupon anymore.

Perhaps you could take your purchases back too?

i wont return coz my cats had some of the treats already, but i guess ill try again next time its the 20x, but before i do it i will probably post my shopping list here first to see if u guys all agree that ill get 20x
