I've noticed how Longos and Sobeys (they have the same parent company, Empire) have been making a point in recent weeks to stress that registered loyalty card members can get the member pricing or contest entries; SCene+ card must be linked to Voila account prior to delivery to earn the points on online groceries (Air Miles points were not earned on Voila). Guess they have noticed some customers took the loyalty cards to rack up and redeem points but have maybe not filled out the rest of their account info.
