The Bay has a program for recycling beauty products/containers. For every 5 items you bring in to the store, you will receive $5 worth of Bay rewards points, up to 50 items per year ($50 worth of points).

Even if you don't use beauty products, some of the items they accept are body wash & lotion dispenser pumps, and shampoo & conditioner caps & pumps, which you probably do have around.

Here is the full list of products they accept:
    • Mascara tubes • Lip product tubes • Makeup pencils, sticks & caps • Foundation/concealer tubes, bottles & jars • Foundation pumps & caps • Compacts & palettes • Bottles, tubes, dispensers & plastic jars less than 60 mL • Dropper tops • Extruded glass, like small sample vials • Body wash & lotion dispenser pumps • Shampoo & conditioner caps & pumps • Travel-size hair styling bottles, tubes & caps • Fragrance bottles

Find more info on The Bay's website: https://www.thebay.com/content/beauty-recycling

Thanks to @couponmummy for posting about this program in another thread. I created a new thread about it so more people will see the info.

They don't really accept body wash or lotion dispensers because it says, "
We accept emptied, rinsed and dried products up to 60 mL in volume (about the size of a yogurt cup)."

Few body wash or lotion comes in tiny bottles. It needs to be even smaller than the TSA approval travel size (100ml). You can turn in face cream and tiny things like mascaras. My Neutrogena face cream is 47ml.

They are not really trying to be nice now. They are just trying to get customers to walk in. It's cheaper than ads.
