That's my plan if nothing else comes to mind. What niggles at me is that I can't think of anything they sell that I normally buy so it could end up being a complete overpay or close. Still easily worth doing in the context of the full promo, but I don't have to like it. :p

on what the actual details were to qualify for these.

Imho, this STB has actually been the most reasonable one. Trying to find 7 sponsors like in past promos was
unattainable for most.
I made out rather well at Metro ( which was my 4th spot to qualify for the 1,000 BAM ).
Bought 3 items we actually needed, T.P. tuna and eggs. The internal giggles came from buying a single small
carrot for 0.44 and earning 3 AM on it and 5 or so fresh green beans costing 0.31, also earning 3 BAM on them.
Wish I had a pet rabbit....instead I ate the beans raw, added the carrot to the bag in the fridge.
Earned 1 base mile and 6 BAM. Spent $25.01 after taxes.

I don’t have many options for air miles now but still managed 200 miles. If I had of opted in on time I think I had 4 but by the time I noticed it was on it was late in the game.

The new owners, BMO, seem to be quite aggressive in trying to encourage members to use the program more often. I had almost ignore Air Miles for quite some time, but STB looked easy enough for me to do it, which it was, and I have also done 3 or 4 more easy offers since, avg. 95-100 AM.

I would agree, I have earned 3x the air miles since the switch over past years. I have consistently had metro offers that’s are so easy and it’s my closest grocery store so not even out of my way.

STB points were there.

I cannot find the thread where there was an AM offer that was only good to do on ONE day, March 12th.
It was get 20x the AM for each single AM that you earn.
Today I received the 160 AM in my account! woo hoo. That was for 3 separate transactions at Metro. $104.62, ( 5 AM )
$21.65 ( 1 AM ), $30.50 ( 1 AM ) and 1 at Shell $30.17 ( 1 AM ) . I redeemed many AM on the large Metro order so my
OOP there was only $4.62.
Tbh, I had forgotten I did this offer. Seeing those BAM was a relief.

@walkonby I also was happy to see that I was credited with 306 Airmiles I did not do a Metro shop but did buy gas and buy a gift card at Dollarama . Hope you buy the max pass for shell and Metro. I got one for shell and was debating on getting 1 for Metro but saw this morning that it’s sold out

I would only have bought the Metro one this time though as the last 2 times I discovered we cannot fit enough fuel in
( only 1 vehicle here ) for the time frame it's offered in. You did awesome on the 20x! You had 15 regular AM ? Wow. Great going!!
Gas is pricey, so yeah that could do it.

@walkonby . I got 10 AM from Dollarama and 6 AM from Shell. We have 2 vehicles and my DD does a lot of driving to work so she uses more than 60 litres each week.
