I will keep this short.

My mother passed away 2 yrs ago and I went to her accountant to get the ball rolling for a clearance certificate. Asked her to do this on May 31/23. Found out much later that she did it on July 13/23. Never received by Revenue Canada as is was "mailed" and lost in the "mail". What accountant does this?? Finally at Revenue Canada on Dec 27/23. Am I wrong is assuming that she did not apply for the clearance certificate in the first place?

Sorry for your loss. Maybe an estate attorney is needed in this case. Condolences.

I am done with her (the "accountant") and have posted an unfavorable review. I also share my sad tale of woe with whomever would like to hear it. I do thankyou for the information tho!
