ps: someone shoulda told sally that the words that are not working, sometimes will work days later..she moved some to expired, but did they get on wiki?

If you are talking about the words lame and weak, she assumed that those were posted intentionally. She made a post about it somewhere.

FYI...

the Chef Mom recipe contest will be ending on Sunday. It looks like no one has a chance to beat Pamela Z.'s Authentic Mexican Rice. The ironic thing is that the recipe is really not all that good. Her directions are not even correct-check out step #3-and one of my clients that does cook authentic Mexican food says that's not how it's made.

Anyway....I kind of gave up on getting votes when all the hoopla started here on the thread. Since the thread has been merged, I haven't gone back and tried to dig out the old links for voting. Maybe anyone that had an entry can repost their link and get a few votes/comments for points at least.

For those that had trouble voting-it really works if you try it the way curls posted at one point. When it tells you to log in to vote:
1) Log in
2) click on get started, as if you were going to enter your own recipe
3) scroll down to the bottom and click on current contest entries
4) my entry is in the top section, but on page 2 (Festive Salsa)

you can keep this thread open in another window and come back here and click on the person's recipe link for step 4

So since we can just chit chat now I'll share a link that my friend just sent me that gave me a laugh. She's on the hunt for a roommate and came across THIS ad:

"Hi I'm looking for a small place to live in Kingston...
all inclusive with maybe cable hook up and telephone/or not. I am 22 years old, smoke pot, like music, or I can just be on my own."

My wicked side is so tempted to respond with:

"This is the OPP and it has come to our attention that you are in possession of a controlled substance. We are contacting you to inform you that if you bring in all your possession to our offices, will we not press charges".

Do you think he would fall for it? Ok, ok i'm not going to do it but it was a funny thought!
