Zellers Bridgeport closing deals

The deals aren't great yet, however, I noticed that they have all of their backpacks on for 60% off. I got a Dora backpack with a pencil case and lunch kit for only $7.98 (reg $20).

I'm looking forward to returning in a few weeks to see what the sales are like then.

I see that this weekend is 10% off when you use your credit card. Anyone know if that deal will apply to the stores that are closing? All toys were 20% off as of Thursday afternoon. Wii games, etc 10%. Patio furniture 10%. Anyone know when the store actually closes? I wonder how quickly they will reduce items.

I went there and the prices are higher than normal but they say they will give you a 10 % discount. They will NOT honour their own flyer. They will not price match. Good riddance.

Yeah the one in Stanely park mall is pretty sad too. Although there were TONS of people? I was looking for Diapers, personal care and laundry stuff. All of these were a measly 10% off. Better to wait or find a sale.

The lady did tell me that every 2 weeks the percentage goes up by 10% so in about 6 weeks I will try again!

Good to know! I looked at Bridgeport and didn't find any great deals. I will wait and hope the deals get better.
