    Your Pyrex dishes. Trusted, right?

No more. Using your Pyrex as you should expect to could cause you serious injury.
Like the Tire story, I think this one has to do with the American market... but the same supply feeds Canada and the U.S.

With Thanksgiving coming soon, be careful.

    OMG that is so scarry.
I don't have many glass ware but when I use one I always make sure that I put it on top of a towel or wooden block.
I was always afraid of breaking it, now I'm gonna get paranoid

That article is crazy!! My lid exploded last year. Thankfully it was just the lid and not the contents or I'd be in the same situation as some of those people.
Yikes... thanks for pulling that up Scooter. A good warning indeed.

    I dont bake with glassware.

When I was a kid I learned the hard way moving a hot dish into the sink with hot (not cold) water, it exploded everywhere.

I just use glassware for serving food, not to cook with.

In the mic I use glassware, but never till its extreme temperatures.

Kind of like when you boil water in a mug in the mic, then use a spoon in it, its been reported exploding and burning people, thats why I always throw my teabag or whatever in first, never anything metal. I always thought it was urban legend but it happened to a guy I use to work with. http://www.snopes.com/science/microwave.asp
