I have used coupons for years - but never been a couponer so to speak. So the last few days I have done quite well I think - for a newbie couponer!!! Rexall saved $26 on Deoderant and Body wash (Plus got a great rain check on Arm and Hammer Laundry Soap)
Today - shopped at Safeway for customer appreciation day and saved $136.72 on a $283.00 bill (Keeping in mind I bought a lot of produce and meat too) My biggest score was the large box of pampers - on sale for $29.99 ... I had a 50% off coupon and she let me use a $2.50 off coupon because I bought wipes and 10% off for customer appreciation day!
I have found my newest passion - COUPONS!
Now I just have to get better at it. I need a tutor in stacking and other coupon tricks

You did an awesome job! And welcome to the wonderful( although addictive ) world of couponing. Don't beat yourself up when you make mistakes ( and you will) with your coupons, we all started as newbies and learned as we went.

I used to have a small stack of coupons that I usually sat in a drawer until they expired or used on full price items. When I joined smart canucks, I learned I wasn't as thrifty as I thought I was. The first few months of becoming a 'couponer' can be hard, since you want to get all the great deals. Once you know what deals are for you, it gets easier and you'll spend less time hunting after deals.

Sounds like you are off to an awesome start.
