    sorry to hear that rockit, you and her family have all my condolences and prayers. one of my best friends was just diagnosed with 4 different cancers and it certianly changes your outlook on things.

    Her mind is raring to go... though without proper nutrition and sleep she does not have the strength
    to walk alone. She has physio daily and there is progress.
    I have been here daily... the hospital is huge and was confusing at first as they have added on so many
    buildings with connecting hallways... It is part of McGill University and a block or two from downtown.
    My daily drive is beautiful as I go through an area called Westmount... much like Forrest Hill, only the homes here are all on
    hills... The homes are magnificent and one of my good friends just bought one which is just beginning renovations.
    I was asked to assist with colour choices.... I agreed as it will take my mind on a much needed journey out of hospitals.

    My mom has some wonderful nurses and I had never seen so many male nurse practitioners as I have here.
    (obviously I do not make it a habit to frequent hospitals.)
    One in particular took note of a conversation we had and makes sure my mom has chocolate pudding and chocolate ice
    cream for her snack every day.

    I may be home next week. All depends on when my mom's transfer takes place. Once she is at the other hospital and
    a plan of action is developed I will feeling a bit better about returning home.
    My daughter bbms me and every day she asks about grandma and then when are you coming home...
    My husband and daughter will be here this weekend.
    Thank you to those who have written and expressed your good wishes...
    I appreciate them so very much
