OK, so I was looking at the Familiprix flyer online and noticed that, starting on Thursday, May 10, 2012 they are having the Colgate Optic White 85 ml toothpaste on sale for 99cents. There is a $1 coupon from the Redplum a couple of months back. So it would be FREE!!!

Not like I need any more toothpaste, but free is free! And I could always put some to the donation pile.

I would price match to maxi instead going to familiprix with a product at 0.99$ and a coupon at 1$.

They give me hard time all the time because the cash registrer is not able to accept the coupon and the cashier don't want to adjust the price of the coupon

@ontest - never had that problem here at the local one. But I might just do the price match thing...hmmm that is a bit of overage!

yeah, but after 3 times trying it in past years of couponing at familiprix, and having problem each time, this didn't worth the trouble for me. If I really want the free item with coupon from familiprix flyers, I prefered price match at maxi or walmart when I do my grocery trip and avoid cashier and cash registrer problem. lol!

at least I didn't lost my time and didn't spend gaz to go there!!!

I went and got all 5 tubes. The manager had to authorize the coupons and they just put in the coupon as $0.99 ...5 tubes of toothpaste for $0.75 tax.

The Colgate Total is also at 99cents.

And there was not one insert with the Optic coupon but two. And one coupon for the Colgate Total in one of these inserts.

    Happy brushing!!!

I think because I live in a small town that the local stores know me and know that, when they see me, it is because I am there to get free stuff. The local stores don't give me a big hassle.
