Well my 10 day weekend is at an end. Will be hard to get back into the swing of things.

It is our eldest's birthday tomorrow too, she is turning 23
I guess its true things happen in threes!

Happy birthdays to all the special daughters out there, including attitash -14; lee -20 and mechman - 23.
They will always be our little girls no matter what the chronological numbers say.

I can tell you a thing or two about daughters though I’ve never had one of my own,
One day she is boarding the school bus & seems the next she is already grown,
That little lady you once play peek-a-boo with & shared bath time splashes with,
Still keeps that little girl in her very own heart & that part isn’t a myth,
You answered many questions she asked out of simple curiosity,
& hopefully didn’t put much stock in a messy room, though the sight an atrocity!
Nail polish & perfect hair, things that make a young gals life complete,
Think how lucky you parents were to have had a front row seat!
At times girls can be stubborn & fiery with such insubordination!
You know this can be a fact of passage if you’ve engaged in a girlie altercation,
Through it all you worry, but you only want the best of the best for your little missy,
Cause you love her when she frustrates you & even when she’s prissy,
The times when she was running a fever & you may have paced the floor,
Staying up all night & fretting did not feel like a chore,
You held her close & told her stories,went fishing & even got out the finger paint,
For every girl is an artist & those one on one moments are so quaint,
Your daughter is always your own little girl no matter where or when,
Take a bit of time to express your love with a note & I do mean with a pen,
So as you blow out all those candles & celebrate her arriving,
The potty training, first day at school & soon that girl was driving,
Hug her & tell her why she is the brightest shining star,
& if life was a golf course she is simply above beyond par.

H-Team - Just read about your little furball. I'm sorry to hear, I would have been in a panic to see my pud like that It's good you got the poor thing to vet right away, I'd hate for it to get worse. Hope he/she is doing okay today or at least as good as can be expected under the circumstances - let us know what happens.

good evening all, what a beautiful day, worked north of the city in the shade, a nice breeze, didnt feel like 30 at all.

happy birthday day to the 3 daughters, i had 3 sisters and helped raise my neices, i wish you well on the early teen years, i will just suggest keeping some beer and a shot of something handy , but most of all i wish them well

An American went to Scotland and played golf with a newly acquainted Scottish golfer.

After a bad tee shot, he played a "Mulligan" which was an extremely good one.

He then asked the Scottish, "What do you call a Mulligan in Scotland?"

"We call it 3."

HAPPY MONDAY!
suppose to be HAZY, HOT & HUMID today, my 3 favourite words. it's just too bad i have to sit inside an igloo, wearing a jacket, would much rather be outside in the warmth. so far haven't had any rain yet, the sun keeps peeking thru the clouds.

1st TRAGICALLY HIP song i heard was COURAGE on the way to work.

today my little furball will be having her absessed tooth removed. apparently they wanted to wait another day cause the drugs where helping to clear up the infection. hope all goes well & i can see her soon.
