    Hi!

Anyone know of mommy and me swimming classes? My son is almost 5 months and I think I would like to start getting him comfortable with water. So far I've found classes at the community centre, but i don't want to go into a chlorine pool. Anyone know of a salt water pool anywhere around Vaughan?

Anyone have experience with these classes?

    Thanks!

I don't think you really need classes at that age, they mostly splash around and play. You can easily do that yourselves! I started taking my DS at four months, and the pool was chlorinated, never bothered him. He's six now and loves the water.

we used trinity swim school at the corner of Major Mac and Keele. Its a bit expensive though, ratios are 2 "students" per teacher. Have fun.

I myself am not a big fan of chlorine pools, so it's just a personal choice! How did your little ones enjoy it? Are they swimming yet?

Yes, i just googled Trinity and will be calling today. Thanks Connie106!

You may also want to check out local hotels. Many today have saltwater pools and allow public access anytime for a nominal fee. Since they are not public pools with a lifeguard, they are often quieter, less busy and you don't have to stick to a swim schedule. Our local Best Western does this, so they would be a good place to call, if you have any nearby.
