I'm still pretty new at this couponing thing, and I don't seem to get the great deals that other's are getting, but I had to share this minor accomplishment!

Had to go to Sobey's to get stuff for sandwiches for DS's birthday party tomorrow, and I remembered I had a FPC for Liberte yogurt, and a FPC for Dr. Oketers mug cake. After going through my coupons, and finding a tear pad for Maple Leaf Flakes of Turkey (buying anyway to make sandwiches), I ended up saving over $13.00 (with coupons)! The cashier was impressed that I saved so much. I still ended up spending $30 OOP, but still! Everything except eggs were on sale, plus I used coupons on everything but the bread and eggs.

Not a huge accomplishment, but being so new, I'll take the minor ones when I can!

Thanks everyone! I was quite proud! Actually my DD (8) who is starting to learn the concept of money more and more was happy with the amount of coupons I used. She actually looks for the coupons now in stores. LOL.
