Hi, Does anyone on here using nuva ring as a birth control method? My doctor said that would be another option for me since i'm not really good in taking the birth control pills on time lol. would like to know if any have bad experience, side effects and know how much it cost......thank you in advance

A friend of mine tried these and one thing to note is that not all insurance companies will cover them. Some companies have clauses in their agreements saying that they will only pay out for "oral contraceptives", so you might not get reimbursed for the cost if you have insurance.

i use these. been on them for about 2 years now. they are not covered with my insurance. but i go to the health clinic and get them for 12$ per month which isnt too bad. i havent really had any side effects. they are super easy to use ( def better than the pill i would forget to take those everyday). put in, leave in 3 weeks take out for a week and get your period. u just have to make sure that u take it out and put in on the same day at the same time which is kinda annoying. and it makes your flow a tad lighter which is awesome too. if u have any other questions feel free to pm me.

We have sunlife thru work and it has always covered this since it came out, guess it depends on the insurance
