Confused: Super Spend Your Points AND 20x?

So I know the super spend your points is june 9th and 10th, and then on the website, it says Offer valid from Saturday, June 9, 2012 to Friday, June 15, 2012.

20x the Pharmaprix Optimum Points^®*

So, does that mean that while we're redeeming, we're also accumulating 20x the points?

Or, will both offers not apply.

This is my first redemption, so sorry about my naiveté!

I saw that too... it's only certain products (ie. Huggies, and Life Brand vitamins) that have 20x points. ** Hehe... read the fine print!

As far as I know, 20x points applies to base points. If you are redeeming, you get no base points and thus, no 20x points. Somebody feel free to correct or confirm this...:

20x are only on some produce... and if you redeem you will not get 20x for them.

But if this is product you plan to buy... this could be a good way to boost your points and reach the redemption level. For me this is the strategy of SDM having those 20x item product in the same time as redemption... The product with 20x are not stuff I buy myself so I don't know the regular price but usually they are a bit overpriced on that kind of event.

Do I earn regular points on redemptions?
Nope. You earn points on the portion you pay (aside from the taxes). So if you have $90 worth of stuff and are redeeming for $85 you will earn points on the $5 you are out of pocket. Certain bonus promotions will work with redemptions (ie buy X product get Y points) but not all the promotions work that way.

you also get points on coupons those you used during redempition day...for example if your SUBTOTAL IS $5 AFTER REDEEMING $90 YOU GET POINTS ON $5 AND 1F YOU USED 15$ OR 25$ 0R ANY AMOUNT WORTH OF COUPONS YOU GET POINTS ON THAT TOO..I DO HAVE RECEIPTS BUT I CAN NOT SCAN THEM...

I asked SDM on their facebook page whether I would get bonus points if I redeemed on Enfamil A+ which has 20x bonus points this weekend. Then I asked if I could use my 3000bp coupon for Pampers as part of my redemption. Here are the answers:

if you redeem points you will not be eligible for the 20x event. Regarding the vib coupon - yes you can use that with your redemption of points. Hope that helps.

Thanks for posting this info. I'm happy to see that we can still use VIB BP coupons during redemption. Given the latest adjustments I was worried they were going to exclude them for redemption as well.

This seems to be contrary to what CS is saying on the phone. You might want to take a screenshot of their response on FB in case you have problems. In fact, maybe you can post it here on SC. It's too easy for them to go in and edit or delete their response.

Don't want to see you or anyone else get burned. Hate the way SDM is doing business...
