Are you a coupon addict?

Yes, I too am addicted to couponing. DH has always been able to search out the good deals but now I'm all over the coupons (and he is too). We do 'flyer day' together on Saturday mornings over flavoured coffee (that's our splurge). We make a list and note which page of which flyer items are on sale. Then I get out the coupons to match the sales. We generally hit WM and PM. This is so much better than going all over town to each individual store. The only time we do that is if there's soup on sale because we can only PM up to 6 items of a particular deal. I've PM'd up to 5 flyers at a time and used as many coupons as possible. We love a great deal! Oh, and I have a spreadsheet on the computer where I track everything from coffee at Tim Horton's to bills, groceries, tp, cleaning supplies, vehicle expenses etc.

My name is Georgia and I have a problem....they say admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery. OOpppps, that's AA. I wonder if there is a CA: Couponers' Anonymous? Guess not.

DH can't stand listening to my gibb gabbering about coupons. He hates the fact that I keep receiving samples and coupons in the mail....he says that Canada Post will charge us more as a handling fee for all the stuff. My family loves the samples and coupons I get them; but then again, my dad has a stockpile I only dream of.

Am I addicted? Yeah, I would say so. I love the high from getting free stuff. The overage, the thrill of a zero bill....ahhhh....more potent than any drug out there.

Tbites sounds like you enjoyed your walk looking for inserts and that's okay - how did you make out, did you find any? Your walking partner should be more involved lol (my husband refuses to stop and that's okay) but it kills me just to walk by without peaking....

GeorgiaK - you're too funny....wow sounds like your dad has an amazing stash, I guess you learned your love of couponing from him (lol), samples are wonder_ful and cost effective.
