well race fans, here we are at Daytona for the "Coke Zero 400" & AJ test positive in a randon drug test. he has 72 hours to give another sample for testing. meantime, Sam Hornish Jr is awaiting a plane to take him to the race. the pit crew are changing the seat so he can just pop into the car. there has been no word yet as to what kind of drug AJ tested positive for, whether it's a prescription or otherwise.

Next: Cup Series race from Daytona Bill Elliott is making his return to Cup Series racing, and ushering in Turner Motorsports at the same time. He'll start sixth in the Coke Zero 400. Let RaceView bring you the action.

update on Sam Hornish. he is due to arrive around 7:35pm. Kenny Wallace will start if Sam isn't there in time for the green fl&g, then will switch afterwards.

Newman feeling a bit loose & the crew will take a turn at the track bar on the 1st available stop. Burton says he went to the back cause the water temp was too high in mid pack.

the outside line doesn't seem to be as fast. no one's been able to keep up with the inside line.

Lap21 Bill Elliott is in third place. If he could somehow manage to win ... holy cow. What a popular victory that would be!
