talk about getting ripped off, darn sil had garage sale and was supposed to sell my stuff plus other family memebers, shows up today with small box that didnt sell and no money apparently she spent it...wtf....then says she cant pay me for 2 weeks so gives me a well used hair straightner instead, just phones talking about the bed she bought, ask her how she paid for it well i had cash, but not enough to pay u...wtf..another family member screwing us over...arggg!!!

I read your post and it really upset me so i figured it best to just leave the thread and not post anything. No one's ever going to agree 100 % and rarely do people change the other's views by a post on a thread. Sometimes its better to just walk away rather than let yourself get all wroked up.

here, someone aimed a chicken nugget in a school cafeteria, and went "BANG". they got suspended.

depends on the school, and the kids i suppose. is this kid jake is dealing with a known troublemaker or has he been golden boy til a girl got involved?

inquiring minds need to know. and are there any precautions in place to keep these kids apart? and is jake walking with someone or being picked up afterschool?

(i know he's older, but still, they can travel in herds, most teens do!)

Well boy was searched and they found nothing. I dont know how good or bad the kid is. I know alot of that family is into drugs and are alchoholics. Hes been threatening jake for three days. I just found out today. They were set up to fight after school, but jake just planned on getting on the bus this evening. To top it all off dh's niece started rumor this morning that it was jake gonna stab the other kid. SO NOW everything is just rumors. They both get pulled into the office on monday so they can be told they are being watched and told of the consciquences. UGH.. This dont help my nerves a bit. Also I make sure my kid has no access to a pocket knife at all. I also check his bag and his secret hiding place everyday.

I'm a massage therapist, but I work all different hours. Being a single mom is tough, and my office is in my home. Many times it works out best for me to take 9:30pm clients, after I have gotten the kids in bed. I work 7 days a week, day and night to accomodate soccer, basketball, dance, chorus, school functions, games recitals, etc...

Yep, lots of beaches close. Myrtle Beach is only 2 hours away and then the Smoky Mountains aren't far either. Williamsburg/Busch Gardens ia about 4 hours away...Disney is about 10...

The closest beach to me is only about 20 minutes!

I emailed p&p looking for my DANG PRIZE! so they said they sent it out a week ago, and that i should get it by this week, or first of next. so i mobbed my mailman, he says he hasn't seen it, that he would deliver it and i asked him, if i wasn't home to leave it at neigbhours.

then today, no mailman at all! do you think he ran away with my G/C????

It got to my oldest son who immediately called home to tell us and we got jake and brought him home. Principal was suppose to pull other kid in and search him. Well yesterday I signed the papers for my renewal mortgage. I was getting worried, the first company would give me one becasue of the oil spill. The bank I deal with in the village came though, and I got a good rate. So I am all set for the next 5 years. Breathing a big sigh!! I hate going though all the crap, now if I stay with this bank, I wont have to do anything but sign a renewal in 5 yrs. I just hope their rates a still good in 5 yrs.

I get to go out to a play tonight. No kids this week, so the weekend will be restfull I hope.
