I will be redeeming my Mailers Friday... The Manager said I should redeem one to see if it's immediately added. IF it is and I spend a MERE $40.00 I priced it out already!!! I will have 97000+points enough for the $200
Since my budget is going to be tight the next cpl months, I'm thinking of redeeming for Groceries, School Supplies Laundry Items and a few spoliers for all of us (things I would NOT usually buy! I've also priced out with my coupons that IF I do it right essentially I would be getting almost $300.00 worth of item for FREE!!!
I've had a sneak peak at an SDM flyer BUT NOT CERTAIN it was WEST! so I may have to readjust my plan a lil...

I am cashing out but on food and medicine because we need it. As well, good sale on coke, chips, candy for our coming vacation.
As well, going to pre-order the Hunger Games on that day.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

This has to be one of the worst flyers I have seen for bonus redemption in a long time.
Most items are way overpriced compared to what I have seen at SDM for the same items in previous weeks.
Almost makes you wonder: they give you an additional 30$ for 95,000 points redemption (30/170=17.6%).
If most prices are bumped up by 20% to 40%, you might as well just redeem on a regular day.
A good example is Breyers ice cream. Was $2.99 the other day, this week $3.99 (33% increase).
Head & Shoulders shampoo has been $3.99 and $4.99 in the past, this week it is $6.99 (40% to 75% increase).
How about High Liner frozen salmon? Have seen $4.99 in the past but this week $5.99 (20% increase).
The list goes on and on.

Going to Ontario on Sunday and getting 4 Motrin. It's not on sale in Quebec and can't use $3 printables and can't redeem. Triple whammy. Getting Visine and Clear & Clear because these can't be redeemed either. DS wants a 3DS game so hopefully electronics is well stocked.

I'm going to redeem $200 this weekend. I know, the flyer doesn't have a lot of exciting sales so I'm redeeming points for the usual groceries, milk, eggs etc, also contact lens solution, vitamins. Will splurge on some cosmetic items like the Benefit Porefessional and Coralista blush.
