SpiderTech’s PowerStrips are designed for use as both stand-alone and integrated additions to the family of SpiderTech products and education. Each X, Y or I product can be applied independently or combined to provide therapeutic benefit via Kinesiology Tape Therapy methodologies, and used in conjunction with SpiderTech Pre-Cut products to further enhance the therapeutic impact of your treatments.
What is SpiderTech?
SpiderTech tape is a non-medicated cotton tape that you apply to your body wherever it hurts.
SpiderTech is the first to provide convenient, standardized and easy to use Pre-Cut Kinesiology Tape Applications, called “Spiders”.
Each Spider is made of one continuous piece of Kinesiology tape so that it integrates with the body in a super-functional manner. The tape has a very specific elasticity built into the weave pattern of the cotton fabric, which mimics the elasticity and thickness of human skin, allowing it to integrate, support and stabilize without adversely affecting healthy ranges of motion.
Spiders are designed for specific body-parts: No need to design, no need to cut, and no anatomy and physiology knowledge necessary. Just follow the instructions on the package and this website! Some Pre-Cut Spiders can be used on multiple regions of the body, and our X’s Y’s and I’s cover just about anything! This thread is currently associated with: Via Rail

as someone who works in physiotherapy I'm not a huge fan of these for a number of reasons: the main being that taping should be individualised- when your therapist tapes you they are addressing your specific body issues and physiology. A typical taping, of a realitively simple injury or problem, can take a fair amount of time. There are small adjustments, even of a few millimeters, can make all the difference.
That being said its a neat freebie for those who wanna give it a try. But I don't think it would replace the quality of taping job you would get from a professional.
