Is anyone else addicted to Ebay? I find that it's a great place to browse for certain items, such as collectibles that are hard to find, Gift Certificates, Movies that are hard to find, etc. I just picked up 2 Christmas WebKinz for my neice and nephew for Christmas and only paid like $17-ish with shipping for both when the exact one I got for my neice in the store was $21.99! My Husband also likes Terry Pratchett Books and I picked a used one in good condition up for $0.31 last night! Yes, my name is Tara and I'm addicted to ebay *sighs* Is there anyone else here that is addicted as well?

I was SOOOO addicted to ebay when I was pregnant (I hadn't discovered SC at that point) I was able to get a lot of great things for super cheap.
I got a mobile for my daughter's crib for $13 (shipping included) when all other mobiles in stores were over $50.
I made the mistake of buying shoes online though. I bought about 4 pairs that didn't fit me at all (thank goodness for kijiji), but I was able to score a pair of cute little Roxy flats for a quarter of the price that they were being sold for in stores.

Don't forget to use SC's cashback to even get more money back ;-)

I haven't bought much off of there because I never seem to have the money at the right time lol, but I love browsing E-Bay. I've been looking for good deals on maternity clothing and I will probably buy some stuff for the new baby on there too.

There is a whole section dedicated to cash back.
Canadian Cash Back & Rebates
It's worth getting into if your doing the shopping anyhow.

I was really bad with Ebay when I first signed up. I was working nights at the time and I would even log on as soon as I got home in the morning. I would bid on something....then I would wake up, check my email and realize that I just won something that I didn't need or sometimes really want!! How sad is that????
So, I am over that. THANK GOD!!! I still frequent Ebay but usually only to find deals and there are some really great ones sometimes...just gotta be patient and shop around.
Happy Shopping!!

Addicted to Ebay...who me? I just got two purses that I bid on at the same time, thinking I wouldn't win them both...guess what I did. Ther are very much alike...now what do I do? Give one away as a gift I guess. I guess we have to develop our Smart Shopping Genes more.

I have only bought from ebay once. Great site but you have to be very careful what you buy and you buy it from.
Just browsing why not join us, we would love to have you:

I am not happy with ebay right now. I sold a pair of smashing pumpkins tickets for the toronto show. They sold below face value, whatever, I just wanted to get them off my hands to close to what I paid. Anyway, the winner never paid up and I so I never sent the tickets. I ended up selling them for half price to a scalper last night.

I know you can report unpaid items, but it tells me that I can't for a couple of days. I shouldnt be charged ebay fees for something that didn't actually sell. Anyone know? I emailed the person over and over and never heard back either, that's just not right to do that to someone.

I go through spurts - with clothing for my children. I have a bad month every year or so. This time I went back to attempt to sell a few clothing items. I do sell a few things, but end up spending what I got pretty quickly. I wish I knew about this cashback thing a couple of months ago!!

You could of offered a second chance ofer to the next highest bidder and still sold them, in 7 days you can file a non paying bidder and get your FVF that you paid as a credit.
You should read up on the help threads of selling on ebay, tons of useful info on all aspects of selling.
