Do you have a lot of kids to buy gifts for? If I lived anywhere near the warehouse sale, I think I'd be in danger of overdoing it in the frenzy! Will you be using the silly putty and Model Magic for Halloween? The Superstore near me had equivalent prices on Crayola kits and things this summer, and I did stock up for Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter. Those kits are now $18.99, but were selling for $3.54 -- could buy ten kits for less than the price of two. Bought the Crayola 3-D sidewalk chalk kits for $0.64 at the end of August, as well as a lot of other toys and things for similar prices. Those will be used for Easter baskets.

If you hand the Silly Putty out for Halloween, better tell the kids what it is! Are the eggs labelled?

Minou - I don't have too many kids to buy for. I have one niece and two nephews. I personally bought them the giant floor colouring books so they have something to do when they are at my place. One of my nephews is only 10 months, so I also bought him the giant crayons so he can actually colour with them. :D

Many of the other things my sister asked me to pick up for her kids on her behalf.

Some of the model magic and the oil pastels is for my 12 (almost 13!) year old sister. Most of the model magic however, believe it or not, is for my husband. He creates little figures out of them for fun. He's pretty incredible. I should post a picture of the South Park characters he made. If he was there it was made quite apparent that he would have bought more. He said each bag would have cost him at least $6 plus tax at the store. I paid $1 per bag, no tax.

And yes, the red "tomatoes" in the bag ARE silly putty. I bought 100 of them for Halloween. Well, I paid for 100, but there were actually 105. My husband and I counted later. Ooooops!

I am a teacher, which is why I was able to go on Friday to the sale. I do not have my own classroom though, so I didn't buy anything for school-related purposes. I WAS going to pick up some posters they had at the back but the ones they had left I did not really like. There was one with colours and shapes but someone took it just as I saw it

It was quite a drive for me and I was SOOO overwhelmed when I got there because I didn't know where to start and didn't have proper bags... The line was long as well so I was there for about three hours... but my niece and nephew loved their colouring books and my husband was so happy with his model magic, it made the trip worth it. He was also quite happy with the silly putty and said he would rather keep it all than give it away to kids at Halloween!

And yes, they are labelled. The eggs say "Silly Putty" and "Crayola" on them. And they were 10 cents each again this year.
