ttc drivers are more strict with showing your student ttc card now with your fare...for the last two days I been asked to show it. I use adult tokens usually but since they didn't ask before I thought I would buy student tickets but now they are more strict so going to go back to adult tokens. I look like a student still lol...

they've always been strict. the only discounts available post secondary is the monthly metropass available through the student union for $96 instead of $109.

Well I would assume they would be strict with tickets, I mean if someone is trying to rip them off by passing themselves off as a student instead of paying the full adult fare they are losing money. I know, I know, as though they don't make enough money as is, but it's still being dishonest and ripping them off. When I lived in Toronto, my roomate and I split on a monthly Adult TTC pass since they are transferable. That way it cost us alot less!
