To iPad mini or not to iPad mini?

So fun dilemma. I have a retina display iPad, however the mini form factor is amazing.

Yet the resolutions rather sad. 163pp is unbareable compared to the 220 on the retina 9.7".

If you do that math, the 163 will translate to a 326ppi [same as iPhone 4/5]. This means that a retina mini must be in the works.

Who is buying the mini? and who is holding out for the retina mini?

The mini does nothing for me. Either I want small, hence my phone, or I want large to watch a movie for example, hence a 10". Unless you are mounting it somewhere, like under a cabinet or in a car, I just don't find the 7" to be a benefit.

Plus as with everything apple, you are paying more for a worse system. Compare it to the Nexus 7, which is more powerful, has more features, a better screen, and is about half the price. Most smartcanuckers like a good deal, and the ipad mini is one of the worst deals out there.
