Thread: Best Buy Paid me!!

    LOL..so I was planning on upgrading my DH and DS's phones for Christmas, was shopping around for a decent deal on Data plans.
    Considered Wind..but wasn't thrilled with their reviews online..
    anyway,went to Best Buy...got 2 Samsung Nexus phones (Worth 600 each), free with signing their 2 year contract.which includes unlimited, local/Canadian long distance calls, free Canadian wide texting, 1 gig data and whatnot for 57 dollars a month,...the best part was..each phone came with a 150 dollar gift card , that's 300 bucks towards a new plasma tv

    2 year contract is not bad for a free phone , 150 in GC and Plan of 57/month.

    If it was a 3 yr contract and if the montly plan was more than 57/month , I would hesitate.

    Usually you end up paying more when they lock you up in a contract and get a free subsidised phone.

    But in this case you got a pretty good deal

    Be very careful with the data .

    You can use up 1 GB very quickly and the data overage charges are ridiculous !

    Try to use Wi Fi indoors or wherever you can if you have the option of Wi Fi being available in that location ,as opposed to cellular data.

    Yes I know, already use Wifi whenever possible, extra data is 10 bucks a gig, so not bad...but yea..no video/music streaming unless it's on wifi...uses it up way to quick

    Did you use the referral from their Best Buy reward zone promo? The referrer and referee both get $25 in points that way (for each phone).
    I did that on my phone which was already $100 gift card free with purchase on $150 tab (which I'm paying off since I don't want to be on contract). Mine was essentially free on pay as you go
