okay so I was having a horrible day......I stayed upstairs and didn't open any prezzies I am very sorry to my buddy coyote ...

klepto is working nights overtime so I barely saw him so I am unsure if he opened a prezzie or not...

I love beef jerky the teryaki(sp?) kind.....I don't like hot spices....

I have developed a like for canning although it is a lot of work !! I have recieved prezzies last year to make it easier ...like last year my mom bought me a Ninja Mixer/Chopper and garbagepicker(GP) gave me a Magic Bullet for Christmas They both like my salsa LOL

I do know this year I am getting a red Kitchen Aid mixer...I am kinda excited

GP and I were talking about one of the gifts I ordered for my mom was a T-Fal Deep Fryer that only uses 1tbsp of oil....we want her to use it quickly so we can borrow it and try
it out

as for baking I love everything

my mom bought me the red Kitchen Aid pro mixer a few years ago for my birthday, I love it it is the best piece of kit in my kitchen.

What part of the Island are you going to - I am originally from Ladysmith - a little south of Nanaimo.

I went over to Victoria. The weather stayed nice enough (didn't rain much). It was a nice little getaway.

Day 17 is HIPPOS!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE them Melissa, THANK YOU The magnet is already on the freezer with my Christmas cards and the ornaments are on the tree, thank you so much! Trent got Strawberry candy canes from Jezebel and he said see Mom at least she cares about me..HAHA I wouldn't buy him candy canes on the weekend, I guess he's still a little upset with me..LOL Thank you Jezebel!

Day 19 is 5 packs of Downy Unstoppables!!! and some really pretty gift tags, thank you Melissa! Trent got some sponges that grow in water and a book which works out perfect because we are both home in bed sick today. Thank you Jezebel. Sorry buddies no pic today, I'm going to snuggle in my bed with my boy.

Woohoo! The rush is on! This will be my last/only day to get things done outside the house before Christmas!
Have not opened my gift yet today,however Glennad I need to thank-you again and tell you how much both DD an I have enjoyed EVERY day of our surprises!!!!

Today we got a really pretty purple necklace (will look great with some of the new sweaters I bought! I bought 5 so I have one for every workday lol). And a puzzle book which Joshua also thought was for him.


Garbagpicker - I hope you got the last parcel I sent, and the extra treats for the kiddos, and that you like the last couple gifts, I think I saved the best for last (but could be wrong as I kind of forget what all I bought and the order I gave it in, next year I take pictures before and after wrapping!)

Day 19 from Armygirl were a pair of warm & comfy pair of animal print Snoozies house slippers! My gosh my feet feel like they're in heaven.... thank you so much! I dont think I will ever take them off... I wonder if my clients/patients will mind if I decide to wear them to work

I have had my acti fry for a while now, and have not used my deep fryer since! It makes the BEST fries! they taste like they were deep fried but still taste like a potato, you have to season them before you turn it on or nothing will stick when they are cooked, thats how NOT greasy they are!

I have been looking at these for almost two years now lol, just haven't pulled the trigger. I don't really have room in my kitchen and have way too many other kitchen appliances. But this thing looks great, and french fries are a staple here

for my Day 19....a pair of grey gloves to match my scarf!.. so pretty together.

today im picking up hubbies last gift.. then making two more treats.. them im going to spend the rest of the week and weekend cleaning. figure if i do that.. nearly guaranteed no one will show up.. thats how it always works.

this morning I got to open a gift (I shook it last night and couldn't figure out what it could be) and it was bernardin canning labels that dissolve off easily when you finish and reuse the jar very cool! thank you so much my pear tree was in sleep mode this season thankfully so I only made strawberry jam but this next season will probably be crazy with pears yummm!
