Hi Gordholio
I just bought this laptop from future shop for my son http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...cf4c56a7d5en02
he is not a hardcore gamer but he does like playing Minecraft ALOT.He was using my crappy laptop and I found it was getting pretty hot while he would play. I knew a netbook wouldn't be the answer for what he does so I thought this might do. Also if it is not any good does future shop give you a hard time if you try to return online purchases?
Do you think this one is ok for what he does? He is young and this is his first laptop.
Thanks in advance! This thread is currently associated with: Future Shop, Microsoft

Good choice, and he has room to grow with that laptop as it has more than enough.

Wow! That's a great deal! 1TB hard drive is very good for a laptop and 8GB is all you'll ever need.
I'm not versed much on the processor, but it seems pretty decent from what I've read.
Yeah, talking about the guy who mentioned the Etch-A-Sketch, one of my best gifts was a little Sears, tape recorder. It was pretty good for around 1978.Last edited by gordholio777; Sun, Dec 30th, 2012 at 04:21 PM.

It'll be good for him if he just plays minecraft lots. However, if he moves on to other games it might be a bit slow. Other than that it seems like a decent everyday laptop!
wanna join me in making some extra spending money? :] http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Sparked
