Chicken Wings, Chili & Nachos & great big TV screens,
Beer & armchair commentary thus begins your football dreams,

Huddling, Tackling, Kicking & Time Outs,
Unnecessary Roughness, Field Goals, & even Football scouts,
Unbalanced lines & signals & linemen who are so offensive!
Grid Irons, First & Ten & Back Ends that are defensive,
Backfields, Clotheslines, Double Fouls, & Field Position,
Kickoffs & Man to Man, roll around in Fields of Mud,
Then everyone leaps on some poor guy & they all weigh a ton,
Strategic play & interceptions & all those lines to gain,
I’ve heard that stepping out of bounds can sometimes be a pain,
    Quarterbacks, Halfbacks, Safety & Receivers,
Cheerleaders shaking their pompoms for all football believers,
Whatever the weather the game goes on proline players are smiling,
They use luck, & football knowledge & the stats they’ve been compiling,
I do wish them all a safe season & many happy lines of rushin’,
& please be very careful, no one needs another concussion,
A football fan, I’ll never be & that’s just the way it is,
& to all you football lovers out there, I hope your team finds their fizz!

    Part Duex

In essence, what I'm repeating is what I am not comprehending,
Is all this outlandish hoopla & is rivalry is contending?
Money, cash & loot, spin the football world & existence,
& I guess at all costs, that includes some resistance,
In a house of boys I dwell & this game is their dell,
My idea of enjoyment would be a suite & a comfy hotel,
A room with a view where the stats don't matter,
Away from Cheerleaders & Halftime with a fancy cheese platter,
To all other people who will be enjoying every huddle & rush,
Please watch your language so your Momma don't blush,
Enjoy the high definition & yards to go acquisition,
Hope it is clear transmission; can they win by attrition?
May the game be grand as they commence the sachet....
What would Howard Cosell have to say, if he was doing the play by play?

You got that right on Doggie!!!

Actually I saw a guy down by the beach last week on a freezing cold day and his dog was begging for him to throw the ball - the guy kept teasing him - then he went to the end of the dock and threw it way out in the water!!!! It was really cold out so the dog knew better than to jump in the water so the guy pushed him in!!! If I was bigger I would have loved to push him in and show him how it feels!!!!!!

Good morning my Q friends. have a happy psunday. To update you on my dad The drs. say may go home in a few days. plus he has to go to stroke rehab for a couple of months. He can talk and reason.and has a bit of a problem swallowing and says far out things , he would normally never say. As far as the accident. It was just a fender bender, thank god it wasn't worse. I'm okay too. I went with a friend to report the accident to the cops. If I didn't and he did then I would be charged with leaving the scene. Never going to find the guy. all I remember was he is a small Asian or Fillopino and it was a dark gray SUV? I was exhausted and concerned about my dad but I know if it happens again I will at least take a pic of the licence plate DUH!!!!!! Not going through insurance not worth it for a cracked rear bumper and some nasty scrapes. Just concentrating on my dad. I'll probably be watching the superbowl at Sunnybrooke Hospital. San Fran please win.
Another day in the Colliseum with the Gladiators YAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah only takes about 1/2 hr from there down to the water. Lots of people out with their dogs some nice some not so nice .....like the idiot with his rottie who kept pulling hard on his collar everytime the poor thing moved - he couldn't do anything right for this jerk!!!

also the guy who sits outside all day long on Queen St. accross from the library with his poor german sheppard - he's dressed really warm but the poor dog doesn't have anything at all - if he cries or anything the guy gets mad at him - really wrecks my day seeing him!!!!
