We actually decided to go in tonight and i can prove the whole price difference thing. I went to look at a bottle of cleaning solution. The front stickers had been peeled off but you could still see that it said $5.99, I looked at the back of the bottles and there were new stickers saying $7.99 What a joke!!!!!!

thank you for this! i didn't know it was a common practice. when i was buying a skirt @ marcianno on 'sale' for $30 (originally $109) it was amazing! then i saw that they put up even a BIGGER sale the next week and it was "additional 50% off all sale items!" and the same skirt was priced at $59.99 so it would still end up at $30.. heh.

LAnd N is now at 50% off but I noticed new stickers have replaced the first replacement stickers. You would think this would be illegal. Price adjustments to make a sale seem better.

i had bought a massage pad from LNT for my mom , last November . yesterday i paid same price for the same item , I purchased previously , even though they were suppose to be liquidating.just that I liked the item so, much and this is the only place to get that item that's y I bought it.
but kudos to LNT employees , they are in good spirits , I found them joking and laughing and being very helpful when i asked about something, not grumpy because obviously they will lose their jobs soon

Hey, thanks for posting this.
I was going to take two buses and an hour to get to one of the Linen's N Things to check out their "deals". Guess I won't, now!

I was at Liquidation World the other day and they were cleaning out the shelves in like 1/4 of the store, so I'm guessing they're going to be getting big shipments in from Linen's N Things.
