Hate sticky traps with a passion. What am I meant to do with a mouse stuck to paper? Let it starve? Watch it try and chew its legs off? Yuck. I'm all for getting mice outta the house though, OP what happened sucks. I dn't know if I would ever sleep again.
My cat is a hunter for sure so I'm relying on her to alert me of any mousely going ons!Last edited by SarahS83; Tue, Feb 19th, 2013 at 08:09 PM.

OMG! I don't feel so good now. SORRY mouse I don't really want to kill you but you leave me no choice.
I came down stair to make some tea and noticed a dead mouse right beside the fridge. The black plastic trap I got from Canadian Tire finally caught the brown mouse. I couldn't bear to look at the thing, just tossed the mouse and trap in the
garbage bag. I hope there's no other mouse entrance to the house, the hole that I patched in the kitchen remain sealed. There maybe 1 more but I really hope there's no more.

lol kinda funny! I have tried traps before they seemed to work, I used those cheap ones from the dollar store. But I know a friend of mine who has problems with mice and she disposes of them with those super tacky pad traps. goodluck!

Glad you got some. Keep the traps set for awhile though, because there may be more. Try not to feel too guilty. I would feel the same way. I can't even kill a bug without feeling sorry for it. But they came into your home and you killed them in the most humane way you could find.

Thanks abbasgirl! It was a quick death for the mouse though. The plastic snap trap works really well. Although I wish I could just remove it from the house unharmed like I could with a spider. I used to leave spider alone in the house but had to release them outside because of house centipede problem (spider is the food source for house centipede).
