House or Condo for rent - May 1st

Hi everyone,

Hubby and I have made the difficult decision to move. We're currently looking for a new place to live starting May 1st. Here are some of the things we're looking for in case you hear of someone looking to rent to a nice professional couple. We're also considering superindent positions.

- North End Halifax/Clayton Park/Timberlea/Spryfield..basically not Downtown, student centres or Dartmouth. We'll also consider Sackville/Bedford.
- $1100 a month max
- 2-3 bedroom house or condo (not an upper/lower flat kind of thing)
- washer and dryer or hookups.
- family friendly

oh yes Definitely we're looking on Kijii and other places too..Just sometimes people know of things and it isn't advertised..Networking

I like it here in Dartmouth. I am within easy walking distance of the Mic Mac Mall, a Sobey's, and an Atlantic Superstore in addition to banks, a dry cleaner, a dollarama, and a barber shop. It is only a short drive to other options for any of the above and to the Dartmouth Crossing. It is likewise within a walk or a short drive for some good dining out options. The roads are cleared well when it snows and the only time traffic is ever bad is right during rush hour.

Downtown Dartmouth is a few minutes by bus and the driver will give you a transfer putting Downtown Halifax just a short ferry ride away. I wouldn't try to tell you where to live, but I would advise not to discount Dartmouth completely.

To where will you be commuting?

I love Dartmouth, but I would be commuting to Dal, Clayton Park and Herring Cove. Hubby's job doesn't matter..he goes everywhere, but I don't drive. I use the bus all the time. There are also another personal, private consideration for staying on the Halifax side. We're looking, but we're looking for May 1st, so places are slowly coming up. We also have applied for a few super positions, so I'm sure something will pan out for us.
