Woodward is the guy who exposed Watergate that ended the Nixon presidency.

Well at least Obama has the guts to cut defence. The amount spent is ridiculous, unnecessary and could solve a lot of the budget problems they have. There is no need for them to have the military they have. Who are they building it up to defend against? Aliens?

Woodward thinks he has a lot of clout still but he is old school like Mike Wallace was. They think they are bigger than the story.

This will sell lots of his books though, good strategy.

seriously tho i don't know anything about this issue, along with most of the superficial nonsense south of the border. i stopped watching cnn about 2 yrs back. best decision ever!

Actually the way i understood it, Obama is warning about dangerous cuts to the military and wants them to stop. Ironically, this whole this was Obama's idea and even threatened republicans who did not go along.

all just a big game. I am rooting for Woodward on this one. That is not the kind of thing the white house should send any journalist.
