I think the idea behind the app is that the app creators are collecting info on your shopping habits...and then sell that info to the companies for marketing purposes. If this it true though...have to say that the app creators didn't think this through that well - people can scan items in grocery stores so the 'data' they are collecting is not very accurate.

Seems similar to the checkout 51 app but they are getting you to scan your whole receipt so they have more accurate info.

But, I've been using this for a bit now and am enjoying my starbucks gc's

Reason I am not saving points as I learned with superpoints....they went under with no warning and I lost my points so not going to lot that happen again
