so I went over to zellers today to get the scrubbing bubbles toilet gels .. this is what i got:
12 scrubbing bubbles gels
4 pledge .. at my zellers they have two cans of pledge for $4.99 .. used a $2 coupon from the scjohnson post .. so $1.50 a can .. i was going to use a coupon on each can but thought maybe i am pushing my luck .. as the were wrapped together in plastic
My bill before coupons was $47.87 and after coupons $4.87 !!
... would take a pic but camera batteries are dead. The cashier did give me a hard time saying that i can't use the $3 coupons on the product because they are $2.50 each ... and then she said i could only use nine coupons?? whatever .. in the end because I made a stink she rang through all the coupons .. husband is happy to see something other than all the body wash/shave gel etc. This thread is currently associated with: Zellers

Have the same issue as well, actually cashier ring the coupons, then when I am paying, she cancelled order and call in the manager since value is higher than the product. Waste so much time to argue with them, manager kept saying I can't give you money, I said use the actual charge then, she said can't do it, finally got it though.

i know!! I said adjust the coupon to $2.50 , nope can't do that .. i said i don't set your prices .. i should be able to use a coupon .. i'm going to look at my bill later .. i think maybe their system is set up to just go to zero and no further .. which is fine .. i don't want money back .. well would be nice but i agree that the store shouldn't give money back.

The coupon itself covers the tax, so really should adjust to about $2.83 or so
Think there is a post somewhere that Zellers even gave the money back once
I never expect money back.
Technically, stores will expense the full amount, so not sure who is stealing here. Last time when I got my Pearl TAMPAX, coupon of $1 is key in as 0.69, which is really the store will make money out of the manufacture.

Yep, the retailer will in the end, make a bit of money off of that coupon so they really shouldn't complain...oh well! Great deals for you!
