This is the first time i am using amazon.com.
I want to buy a Loreal cream from amazon.com and it is almost at half price from amazon.ca.
Do you have to pay any extra duties and extra shipping when you buy from amazon.com and they ship to canada?
If yes, how much they usually are? and can i pay them from my amazon.com gift codes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes you will and they are likely not payable with your Amazon as most will ship them USPS to keep their cost down which does not include brokerage
If assessed duty (over $20-25 value)
You will pay a brokerage fee of $7+ to USPS (more if sent Fedex/UPS ground)
Plus whatever your local tax rate is based on the product, for you - 13% HST
