I'm trying to figure out if we are on par with most folks as to the amount of gas used to heat our home and run the hot water tank. We just had a new gas meter installed and it seems to be running A LOT slower than our old meter. So the question is really if we have been overcharged for years or not. So, on average in the winter months, how many GJs do you use? The last four months averaged out to about 9.57 GJ per month for us. Does that sound about right?

my last bill was for 6.1 GJ. There are just 3 in the house, so hot water would not be as much as for you with 5 boys....
