For those of you looking for "cleaner" cleaning products...
Check out http://www.methodhome.com/
Products I've used:
Method Hand Soap
Method Dish Soap
Method Wipes
Method Dryer sheets
Method shower gel
Where to buy: I've found the products at Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire and Superstore.
Price: As with all "green" products, you do pay a premium... I have a walk down the aisle whenever I'm at Safeway or SDM and if it's 50% off it's a great deal and I stock up!
Details:
Method Hand Soap - http://www.methodhome.com/Product.aspx?page=573 My son LOVES the hand soap - it lathers up very well, you do need to rinse well. We've tried French Lavender and Grapefruit scents, but I have 2 other scents in my closet for when those run out!
Method Dish Soap - http://www.methodhome.com/product.aspx?page=552 We have French Lavender scent. The scent is nice, and WOW does is bubble! Great for amusing the kiddos, but does require extra rinsing. This may be that the opening makes it difficult to make a small drop, but i think the soap is rather thick so the drop is quite large.
Method Wipes - http://www.methodhome.com/Product.aspx?page=509 (Mine came in a dispenser plastic tub, but these are them) We have French Lavender in this too as well as cucumber. I'm not a huge wipes person, but these aren't bad and you don't need to wear gloves to use them (like you do lysol etc wipes). Plus they're biodegradable - I've put some in my compost - THAT should be interesting
Method Dryer sheets - http://www.methodhome.com/product.aspx?page=601 I'm happiest with these! they smell nice and are great with static. They are weird in that they are WET. Unfortunately they come folded up, so i find that by the time i've unfolded them my hand are scented and it lingers... They are each good for 2 loads, but finding the sheet in the load is sometimes a challenge.
Method shower gel - i bought this on a whim and the kind i have is no longer offered. it was in the STUPIDIST design ever, and i guess they figured that out - their current offering is in a pump and i can't wait to try it.
Hooray for NON-TOXIC! Ingredients are listed on their website. I am happy with my products, and if they were a public company i'd seriously consider buying shares. They are easy to find, and I've seen them go on sale, and good sale, everywhere. Prices can be found on their website and on Canadian TIres Website. This thread is currently associated with: Canadian Tire, Guess, Pharmaprix, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart

Awesome review. We love the hand and dishsoap, and buy a ton of the Hollyberry scent to last us through the year. I'm glad to read your opinion on the dryer sheets - I think I will pass on them - I'm not sure I'd be happy with them, for the price I'd pay!

I use the Method all purpose Go Naked cleaner since I am really sensitive to artificial scents. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It works better then Fantastic with bleach. Not lying. That good. I'm so glad to see your review of the others as I am always looking for a review on new products like these. I use all green cleaners in my house right now that I bring in from the States so I'm glad to hear about this ones that are available here to me!

I forgot i also tried out the Method Laundry detergent - just saw the bottle in the recycle bin!
We have an HE washing machine...http://www.methodhome.com/product.aspx?page=599
Likes - I like how little i needed for the laundry (extra concentrated) - easy to handle the jug, and the cap was easy to use for measuring.
Bought it at SDM - found it on the clearance rack!
Dislikes - the only size was 32 loads... Don't know about you, but in my family of 4 that doesn't last long! So it's great that it's concentrated, but i feel i use more plastic buying it frequently.
Opnions on the clean... I didn't notice any difference between any other detergent - there was practically no scent which is a plus in my book!

2 more...
Daily Shower cleaner - ylang ylang - smells nice, so far i've used it a week, and not super clean, but it says it may take a while to clean accumulated grime - maybe that's me!
Tub and Tile cleaner - Eucalyptus - Big disappointment! It cleaned quite well, but made me hack up a lung (which was one of the reasons why i've been switching from conventional cleaners). I'm actually going to email them about it!

I've used the daily shower spray before with mixed results and didn't like the smell, and I also like the Go Naked cleaner for the lack of smell though I always feel like I'm just spraying water and wonder how clean things are really getting...
One that hasn't been mentioned the glass cleaner is really great and it smells like mint!
I recently bough the Toilet Bowl cleaner but haven't tried it yet, I think its similar to the superstore green brand one.

I finally cleaned my bathroom this week, I used the method toilet bowl cleaner. It comes out pale blue and the liquid is kinda thin. Has a faint minty smell that I only really noticed when bending down to clean the base of the toilet. Did not coat as well as the PC green toilet cleaner I usually buy but also wouldn't stain as some people have found with the green brand. The toilet came out nicely clean with minimal brushing after letting the product sit for a little less than ten minutes.
Overall positives
-no chemical smell (in fact kind nice smell though faint)
-eco conscious
- did the job!
Negatives
-Liquid could be thicker and coat dirt better
- More expensive that traditional brands
- as with any no bleach cleaner I wonder if it really kills bacteria or just makes it look clean
I give it 4 out of 5 and would definitly buy it again, hopefully on sale ; )
