The acers are in sdm flyers but does anybody know if the others such as the netbooks usually go on sale there at the same time? It's bonus redemption and I'm trying to get one and spend as little as possible, lol.

Being in IT for close to 20 years, I wouldn't buy anything with the name Acer blazoned on it... at the very least I wouldn't waste good money or hard earned 'points' on one.
Just my 2 cents anyway.

Acer has horrible customer service and when it breaks takes forever to repair. My sons laptop was Acer and since Acer is owned by Gateway had to be shipped to Toronto and not 1 but 4 times to repair the sound. And remember Shoppers (I work there) doesn't not do returns so if it breaks its all Acer.

I have had good experience with Acer Netbooks. They were recommended by someone in the computer tech biz (a good friend's husband) for my girls first computers. We purchased them at Christmas time a few years ago. They have been well used, and still work great. We have since upgraded their computers to laptops (HPs), but I am using one of the netbooks currently. Acer had a bad reputation, but have been working at improving their image and are producing some good little computers that are getting good reviews now. That said...be careful where you buy the computers.. I have heard that they do cut corners when mass producing these devices (not just Acer, but all brands) for cheap sale at places like Walmart. They may look the same on the outside, but are not necessarily the same on the inside. Or so says my tech savvy friend's husband and tech savvy brother-in-law. I am not so tech savvy, but rely heavily on their advice when making tech purchases. LOL.
